Meet Chris Trippel, DMD
Dr. Chris Trippel is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who believes great care starts with trust, clear communication, and making patients feel genuinely at ease. Known for his calm, approachable style, he takes the time to walk patients through every step so they feel confident and comfortable with their treatment.
Raised in the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Trippel attended the University of Redlands, where he played collegiate tennis. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, building a strong foundation in both clinical excellence and whole-patient care.
His surgical training took him across the country and around the world. After completing an oral and maxillofacial surgery internship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, he completed his residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. During this time, he broadened his experience internationally through an externship at Amphia Hospital in the Netherlands and participated in surgical mission trips to Haiti, Tanzania, and Bolivia—experiences that continue to shape his perspective on compassionate, patient-centered care.
Before returning to Arizona, Dr. Trippel practiced in Bellevue, Washington. There, he provided a full scope of care, including wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, bone grafting, corrective jaw surgery, oral pathology treatment, and facial trauma management.
Dr. Trippel is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Now back in Arizona, Dr. Trippel is excited to serve a community that has long felt like home. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, getting outdoors, playing tennis, and exploring local parks together.
