Ellen went in yesterday August 21,2026 to have a wisdom tooth removed by Dr Trippel. When we arrived the day before for the consultation, we found that the facility was very nice and well-appointed with helpful front office staff. After filling out the required forms we were brought back into the exam room where Sam, who is Dr Trippel's technician guided us through the checklist needed prior to surgery. Dr Trippel then came in and examined Ellen's Xray. Dr Trippel then explained the procedure to us in an easy-to-understand way that made us feel very comfortable. We found all of the staff made us feel welcome to be there and we agreed to have the work done. The next morning, we arrived and Ellen was taken back to get prepped. The surgery was flawless and the aftercare instructions were easy to follow. Dr Trippel followed up with a call later in the day. I wish my dentist had sent me here to have a dying root canal removed. It probably would have saved me the three hip surgeries due to a dental infection that wasn't treated properly in February 2022 by another oral surgery group. I highly recommend Southwest Oral Surgery to everyone.

IF THERE WAS AN OPTION FOR 10+ STARS, I WOULD DEFINITELY GIVE. Dr. DeFelice is absolutely the BEST ever!!! He was checking on myself & the staff from the moment I sat in the chair. The 2 extractions were done so fast. I am not sure the whole procedure from start to finish took more than 1/2 hour? I gave the pain 1 star because it was minimal. I am on day 5 and no pain at all. Since I was a small child, the dental process has been a very painful, frightening experience to the point of fainting in the chair, Had my first experience been with Dr DeFelice, my teeth would be in better shape as I would look forward to dental visits. The Southwest staff is the best. I would definitely recommend. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE CARE!!
